ABOUT
HARMONY 4 ALL

Harmony 4 All is a non-profit organization passionately committed to increasing accessibility to music education for underserved students. We firmly believe that a musical education is just as important as an academic one, fostering an invaluable artistic outlet for emotional growth and mental well-being.

Understanding the financial barriers that hinder students from pursuing formal musical studies, Harmony 4 All strives to bridge this gap by offering resources to students who cannot access them.

Additionally, we are actively accepting donations to support our mission of providing funds to underfunded New York City public schools, empowering students who lack the necessary resources to access quality musical instruments and education.

By fostering a harmonious environment of inclusivity, education, and philanthropy, we aspire to empower and inspire the next generation of musicians, ensuring that music knows no boundaries.

Story

Get to Know Us

Our Founders, Bianca and Joshua Quddus, embarked on their musical journey at PS100Q, a public elementary school in South Ozone Park, Queens, New York. Their inspiring music teacher, April Rachmuth, introduced them to the joy of music through the recorder, which captivated the hearts of several students in the school, including Bianca and Joshua. This experience ignited an instant passion for music within them.

Their exceptional dedication and love for music earned them a unique opportunity. A select group of the most passionate students, including Bianca and Joshua, were invited to participate on-stage in Carnegie Hall's prestigious Link-Up program. This incredible chance allowed them to perform with a professional orchestra on the grand stage of Carnegie Hall, an unforgettable experience for the young musicians.

As they progressed through their elementary school years, Bianca and Joshua encountered a limitation in access to advanced musical instruments. Only clarinets and saxophones were available, but thanks to their demonstrated commitment and talent, their music teacher taught Bianca the clarinet and Joshua the saxophone, along with a few other students.

Fortunate as they were to continue their music education beyond elementary school, Bianca and Joshua couldn't help but feel disheartened as they witnessed many of their friends abandon their musical pursuits due to a lack of resources. This observation fueled their determination to make a difference.

When they enrolled in the Juilliard Music Advancement Program, Bianca and Joshua gained a deeper understanding of the barriers within the music community and music education through their diverse curriculum. Throughout their musical journey, Bianca and Joshua remained grateful for the invaluable training they received. However, their gratitude was accompanied by a growing realization that not everyone had the same opportunities they did. It was from this perspective that they decided to take action.

Driven by their passion for music and their unwavering belief in the transformative power of education, Bianca and Joshua founded Harmony 4 All. Their mission is to break down the barriers that hinder access to music education for aspiring young musicians from all backgrounds through raising and distributing funds to those who do not have access to opportunities. They envision a world where every child has the opportunity to discover and develop their musical talents, regardless of their circumstances.

With unwavering dedication, Bianca and Joshua are committed to providing resources to underserved communities. They firmly believe that music has the potential to enrich lives, instill discipline, and foster creativity. Through Harmony 4 All, they are determined to create a positive impact, one note at a time.
